It has excellent moisture resistance, capable of normal operation under 100% humidity and can be put into service without pre-drying after shutdown. With low loss, low partial discharge, low noise and strong heat dissipation capacity, it can operate at 150% of the rated load under forced air cooling conditions. A complete temperature protection and control system is equipped to provide a reliable guarantee for the safe operation of the transformer. The product boasts high reliability; according to the operational research on the products that have been put into use, its reliability indicators have reached the international advanced level.

Structural Features of SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14 & SCB18 Series Resin-Insulated Dry-Type Power Transformers

Box-type Coil: The low-voltage winding is wound with integral copper foil together with F-class turn insulation on a special low-voltage foil winding machine. Foil windings effectively solve the prominent problems of low-voltage and large-current coil windings such as high short-circuit stress, ampere-turn unbalance, poor heat dissipation, existing winding spiral angles and unstable manual welding quality. Meanwhile, the winding ends of our products are potted and cured with resin for moisture and pollution prevention. The lead copper bars are automatically welded by hydrogen arc welding.

Temperature Control Device: The transformer is equipped with BWDK series signal thermometers, with temperature measuring elements embedded in the upper part of the low-voltage winding. It can automatically detect and cyclically display the respective operating temperatures of the phase windings, and is provided with over-temperature alarm and tripping functions.
