Product Introduction
The YB-type compact substation, also known as the European-style compact substation, complies with standards such as GB17467-1998 High and Low Voltage Prefabricated Substations and IEC 1330. As a new type of power supply and distribution device, it has numerous advantages over traditional civil-construction substations. Characterized by its small size, minimal floor area, compact structure and easy relocation, it greatly shortens the infrastructure construction period, reduces the occupied land area and cuts down infrastructure costs. Meanwhile, the YB-type compact substation features simple on-site installation, rapid power supply and easy equipment maintenance, and requires no dedicated on-duty personnel. In particular, it can be installed deep in the load center, which is of great significance for improving power supply quality, reducing power loss, enhancing power supply reliability and renovating the distribution network. This compact substation fulfills the functions of electric energy conversion, distribution, transmission, metering and compensation, as well as system control, protection and communication.
Composed of four parts: high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage distribution panels, distribution transformers and an enclosure, the YB-type substation is equipped with air load switches for the high-voltage side, and dry-type or oil-immersed transformers as the main transformer. The enclosure adopts a superior heat insulation and ventilation structure with an elegant appearance and excellent thermal insulation performance. It is fitted with upper and lower ventilation ducts, which minimize the temperature rise in the transformer room and high/low voltage rooms caused by outdoor solar radiation. A temperature-controlled forced ventilation device and a solar temperature automatic control device are installed inside the enclosure. Each independent unit is equipped with a comprehensive control, protection, live display and lighting system.
Application Scope
It is suitable for small unmanned substations with a voltage class of 35kV and below and a main transformer capacity of 5000kVA and below, and is widely used in urban industrial substation 10kV ring network systems, rural power grid 35kV substations and other occasions.

The primary and secondary equipment are preassembled in a movable, fully enclosed enclosure with automatic temperature control, corrosion resistance, moisture proofing and rust proofing. The whole device only needs to be installed on a concrete foundation upon delivery to the site. It boasts the advantages of low investment, short construction period, small floor area and easy coordination with the surrounding environment.
